Polaris Heritage Prize Concert

In celebration of the four recipients of the Slaight Family Polaris Heritage Prize for critic- and fan-favourite albums of the past five decades, we're bringing the records to life, with an event featuring the The Massey Hall Band and a cast of special guests.

The Band brings their inventive and fresh approach to these classics of CanCon, alongside Polaris Heritage Prize winners Peaches, Chris Murphy and Jay Ferguson from Sloan Music, and Polaris-nominated guests including The Weather Station (2015, Loyalty), Tanika Charles (2016, Soul Run), Amelia Curran (2010, Hunter, Hunter), Michelle Mcadorey (2016, Into Her Future) and more.

It's all hosted by CBC's Rich Terfry, himself a two-time Polaris Prize nominee.

The winning albums:
Blue by Joni Mitchell (60s & 70s)
The Trinity Session by Cowboy Junkies (80s)
Twice Removed by Sloan (90s)
The Teaches of Peaches by Peaches (00s: 2000-2005)

Tickets: $25

Presented in association with Polaris Music Prize
