Enter the 1920s through the story of Constance Hamilton, suffragette, activist, and the first woman elected to public office in Ontario. Storyteller Ann McDougall presents the story of one of the many immigrants helped by Alderman Hamilton, a trail blazing reformer and advocate for women, refugees and artists and Toronto's first female member of City Council.
