Ontario Science Centre says
Join us on September 27 as we celebrate a total lunar eclipse, a rare celestial event that can be observed with the naked eye. Learn about the moon and the solar system, attend a special screening of IMAX Hubble, gaze at celestial objects through optical telescopes, and – most importantly! – witness the spectacle of the brightest and largest full moon of the year as it moves into the Earth’s shadow and becomes bright red. Don’t miss this free, fun and family-friendly event – the next total lunar eclipse isn’t until January 2018. (Please note: This is an outdoor event. Telescope observing is weather dependent.)

Time: September 27 from 7 to 11 p.m.

Price: FREE, excluding parking ($10/vehicle) and IMAX Hubble ($9/ticket –all age categories)

Location: TELUSCAPE (outside the main entrance)
