Brighton Pride 2026: date, parade route, map, timings, performers and guide

Brighton Pride turns 35 this year, and there’s only one thing for it: a big celebration of all things LGBTQ+, complete with iconic performances, a huge festival and a street party blasting the tunes until well after the sun goes down. 

Exactly what we can expect from this weekend. On Saturday August 1 and Sunday August 2, Brighton Pride will be taking over the city once more to fly the rainbow flag. The 2026 Brighton Pride theme ‘The Power of Love’, while the Pride in the Park lineup features the likes of Diana Ross, RAYE, Five and Jessie J.

Brighton Pride 2026 date

Brighton Pride 2026 takes place on Saturday August 1 and Sunday August 2.

The 2026 parade will be on Saturday August 1.

If you attended the parade last year, you’ll be familiar with the route, which begins on the waterfront at Hove Lawns before travelling east along King’s Road, then up through the city centre via Gloucester Place, London Road and Preston Road. The parade will finish on the southern corner of Preston Park, where there’ll be more festivities.

Those participating in the parade will head off from the start point in Hove Lawns at 11am on Saturday August 1. The march itself usually finishes around 3pm, but people can take part for as long as they choose.

Pride on the Park 2026

As part of the celebrations, Brighton Pride hosts the massive festival Pride on the Park in Preston Park across the weekend. Former Time Out cover star RAYE and music icon Diana Ross will be this year’s headliners, performing alongside RuPaul and Paris Hilton, who are taking the icon spots for 2026.

The Queertown stage returns this year with LGBTQ+ artists and DJs. While the daily line-up hasn’t been announced yet, the official announcement name-drops performers including:

Brighton Pride will also feature the Legends Cabaret Tent, the Cocoa Butter Club stage, community and trans performance spaces and family areas 

Brighton Pride Street Party

For the second year running, Brighton Pride will be hosting its Street Party on Marine Parade on both Saturday and Sunday. Drag stages and music zones and bars, many of which are in collaboration with local venues, will be part of the festivities, with performances from big names like Gok Wan and Bimini. Here are the timings: 

• Saturday: 3pm-11pm
• Sunday : 2pm-9pm

How to get to Brighton Pride 2026

Preston Park and Brighton’s London Road stations will be closed all weekend to help manage crowding, so you’ll need to use Brighton station if you’re travelling by train to and from the celebrations.

For those planning to drive, there are road closures to be aware of, including London Road, Preston Road, Queen's Road and Grand Parade. There will be no parking at Preston Park and its surroundings all weekend. Parking is restricted on a large section of Madeira Drive.
