Glasto devotees, as we’re sure you’re well aware by now, there is no festival on Worthy Farm next summer. If you’re desperate for some sort of Glastonbury news to latch onto, however, today (September 25) we have just the thing. The festival has just confirmed the dates for its 2027 edition.
While 2026 will be a fallow year for Glastonbury – in which the organisers give the ground a year off to recover – the event will return in all its glory in summer 2027.

When is Glastonbury 2027?
Get this in your calendar: Glastonbury will return from Wednesday June 23 to Sunday June 27, 2027.
When will Glastonbury 2027 tickets go on sale?
It’ll be a while yet before Glasto tickets go on sale. Judging from previous years, expect tickets to go on sale in late October or early November 2026.
How much will Glastonbury 2027 tickets cost?
This will be confirmed much nearer the time. For an idea of pricing, in 2025 tickets cost £373.50 (plus a £5 booking fee).
Why is there no Glastonbury 2026?
The festival takes planned years off so that the ground can recover from being trampled on by hundreds of thousands of festivalgoers.
Co-organiser Emily Eavis said: ‘The fallow year is important because it gives the land a rest, it gives the cows a chance to be out for longer and reclaim their land.’
Win Glastonbury 2027 tickets
To celebrate announcing the dates of the 2027 festival, Glastonbury is putting 25 pairs of tickets in a prize draw. The prize fund will raise money to support Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF UK).
