How to watch the Queen’s body lying in state online

The BBC will be broadcasting live from inside Westminster Hall

Hundreds of people have been queueing up to get into Westminster Hall this afternoon to see the Queen lying in stateThe building will be open to the public from 6.30pm this evening for 24 hours a day until 6.30am on Monday September 19, when the funeral will take place.

Currently, the queue stretches back across Lambeth Bridge and along the River Thames. For those who can’t make it to the capital or don’t fancy queuing up for hours, the events will be available to live-stream online. 

The BBC has confirmed it will provide a dedicated stream of the Queen lying in state from 5pm today. It will be available on the BBC News website, iPlayer and the BBC app on iPhone and Android, as well as on the red button on TV.
