Mary Berry is as wholesome as they come. She’s the queen of cakes, the ruler of roulade, the patron saint of pies. And if you want a slice of her warm and cosy vibe, now could be your chance.

Berry’s former home in Penn, High Wycombe is now on sale and could be yours – if you happen to have £3.5 million to spare.

The Grade II-listed home, known as Watercroft, boasts six bedrooms, three reception rooms, an office, a main kitchen and a prep kitchen. It also has four acres of grounds with a tennis court, formal gardens, a natural pond and an orangery plus a cottage and a coach house.

If you ever watched her show ‘Mary Berry Cooks’, you’ll probably recognise the granite kitchen, decked out with a walk-in fridge and  powder blue five-oven Aga, since it’s where many of the episodes were filmed. Here are some pics of the place.

The ex-GBBO judge and her husband bought the property back in 1988 and remained there until 2019 when they decided to downsize. But there’s a chance you could still see her around. Current owner Lucy Patten told The Times: ‘Since we’ve been here, Mary appears quite often if there’s something going on in the village. She’ll come over and have a cup of tea. When we moved in, she hosted a party to introduce us to all of the neighbours. They are all very friendly.’

See? Wholesome AF. You can check it all out for yourself over on the Savills website here.
