We’re big fans of urban life here at Time Out. The city buzz, the exciting cocktail of quirky characters, the infinite amount of things to do 24/7. But sometimes we all need to hit the breaks for a bit. And if you’ve built up some savings and fancy slowing things down more permanently, we’ve got just the thing for ya.

A pub on the remote island of St Agnes in the Isles of Scilly has just been put up for sale and could be yours for £795,000. Or if you don’t want to completely splash the cash, you could also rent it for £18,500 a month.

And when we say remote, we mean remote. St Agnes is the southernmost populated island in the Scilly Isles and in 2011 was home to a mere 82 residents.

Named the Turk’s Head, the boozer looks over a gorgeous crystal clear sea which has often led the island to be dubbed the ‘UK’s Mediterranean’. The pub can host up to 60 punters inside and has an outdoor area for anyone after a pint with a view. Plus there’s accommodation for two owners and five members of staff.

Here are a few pics of the place.
