The takeaway delivery platform has named the dishes it says are growing fastest in popularity across the UK

So far this year, what’ve you eaten more than anything else? Obsessed with eating posh crisps for starter? Still hooked on smash burgers? If you’ve been wondering what Brits will be into on a nationwide level this year, here’s just the thing.
Uber Eats has revealed the nation”s eating habits by naming its ‘hottest bites to look out for in 2025’. The takeaway delivery app’s list is made up of food items growing in popularity the most right now, predicting the year’s go-to dishes.
Topped by the Pad Thai at Rosa’s Thai, the list features plenty of popular restaurant brand names across the country. Among all those big brands, however, Going Greek’s Chicken Gyro impressively places second. Going Greek currently only has six branches – all in and around north and east London.
Also of note is Natty’s Jerk in Portsmouth, which was last year named Uber Eats restaurant of the year. Natty’s Jerk’s Curry Goat Pon Fries comes fifth in the list. Here’s the top 25 in full.
Uber Eats recently passed its one billionth UK delivery, which was made by a courier in Birmingham. The order, just in case you were wondering, was cod and chips with a battered sausage from College Fish Bar.
