Cornish theme park Camel Creek Adventure Park has been a firm local favourite for decades. With water slides, rollercoasters and a mini zoo, it’s an easy, enjoyable family day out.

But last year Camel Creek went into administration and shut its doors, prompting uncertainty over its long-term future. Luckily, the closure was only ever meant to be temporary and now the theme park has announced that it will officially be reopening in less than a month, on March 23

And not only that – there will also be three brand spanking new attractions for visitors to experience at Camel Creek. On top of over 40 existing rides and experiences, there’ll be a new pirate-themed adventure golf, a 7,000 square foot playground inspired by Merlin the magician and an indoor playground and cafe.

Graham Hayes, the park's general manager, said: ‘These new attractions are part of an entire park upgrade. We can’t wait to welcome back members, Cornwall families and holidaymakers when we open at Easter.’

To celebrate the reopening, Camel Creek is offering an online booking discount, where guests can save as much as 20 percent on tickets. It’s also announced exciting plans to launch a holiday park on the site in time for summer, which would include glamping pods, safari tents and units with en-suites. That’s still up in the air, though.
