It’s official: Barbie fever has taken over the world. From the Barbie dreamhouse in LA to her car popping up by the London Eye ahead of the UK premiere, the release of Greta Gerwig’s new movie seems to be pretty much all anybody can talk about at the mo.
To match this frenzy of all things Barbie, Holiday Cottages has listed the Pink Castle as Scotland’s answer to the Barbie dreamhouse. And, excitingly, it’s available to book now.
Appropriately eccentric with a touch of quaint Scottish charm, this marvellous castle sits grandly among the greenery in the Ayrshire countryside. As you’d expect, it’s impossible to miss – and not just because we’re all now hyper-aware of the colour pink.
The fourteenth-century property features turrets, a roped rooftop walkway, hot tub, sauna and panoramic views of vast gardens. It sleeps eight people in four bedrooms, all of which are characterful and vibrantly decorated.
