It's just been announced that Netflix will become the exclusive streaming and pay TV home for films from Disney from September onwards. Which means a—ahem—whole new world for those looking for Mouse House treats to stream.
There has been no word on whether the entire catalog of Disney films will become available (the Netflix blog announcing the news simply says "latest films"), but we dare to dream/wish-with-our-hearts that it will. Imagine it: trippy Alice in Wonderland, heart-wrenching Bambi, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast...your entire childhood, right at your fingertips.
It's not just Disney, though, that will be available; Marvel, Lucasfilm and Pixar movies will also make their home at Netflix. Which could mean Star Wars plus endless movies about powerful flying people available to stream.
