This year's Emmy Awards was a night of surprises—okay, excepting The People Vs O.J. Simpson sweeping the Limited Series categories—with young talents like Tatiana Maslany and Rami Malek causing major upsets in lead acting categories. And it was a night that celebrated diversity (though, as Jeffrey Tambor noted in a speech that implored Hollywood's higher-ups to give trans people a chance, there is still far to go).
