The music from the mega-hit, hip-hop-themed Broadway musical Hamilton is about to get the mixtape treatment.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, the show's creator Lin Manuel-Miranda and collaborator Questlove went into detail about the upcoming Hamilton mixtape.

The soundtrack for the show, featuring the original Broadway cast, has been a huge hit since its release last year (it's also about as close as most people will ever get to seeing the show). It debuted at number 12 on the Billboard 200 chart and went on to win a Grammy. Not much later, Miranda announced that he'd "remix" the album with some of the most notable names in hip-hop. Now, we're getting our first glimpse into some of the voices who will be spitting rhymes about the founding of America.

Common, Chance the Rapper, Queen Latifah, Ben Folds, Regina Spektor and Busta Rhymes are all going to be included on the new album (a release date has not yet been announced).

We're super excited at the idea of Chance the Rapper in a rap battle with Common over foreign policy.
