This post will contain spoilers, of course.

Christmas for gorehounds is just around the corner with the sixth season of Game of Thrones premiering on April 24, and the good little Santas at HBO are giving out some early gifts to fans.

Overnight, the cable channel released three short clips (ranging from 37 seconds to just over a minute) from the upcoming, highly secretive season. In two short scenes from episode one we see Cersei and Jaime Lannister and then Sansa Stark and Theon Greyjoy, and then in a scene from episode three we catch up with a stricken-once-more Daenerys Targaryen.

We do not see Jon Snow. I repeat, we do not see Jon Snow.

While sadly lacking any hints as to what becomes of everyone's favorite wintry brooder, the clips do reveal some of the directions in which Master George is taking his story.

For one, we might have just confirmed the fate of Myrcella Baratheon, who was poisoned at the end of last season (though we never actually saw her die die, so...), with Cersei painedly telling brother/lover/protector Jaime, "I think about locking Myrcella in a crypt." And while it appears Daenerys is back with the Dothraki, it also appears her status among the group has changed: "Hey great Khaleesi, move your ass," says one horseman as they march onward to a mammoth camp that will no doubt soon be incorporated into the great GoT theme-song pop-up map.
