Crazy-popular boutique coffee shop La Colombe—with locations in Chicago, Washington, D.C., New York and Philadelphia—is taking its beloved draft latte nationwide.

If you've been to a La Colombe shop before, then you know that the cold Draft Latte is one of their most popular specialties (among other beany delights, like the Pure Black cold brew available in bottles). But now you won't need to go to a brick-and-mortar store new to get the experience. You can order the draft latte cans to be delivered to your door regardless of where you live.

We got a chance to sample the new canned coffee and—good news—it's a winner.

We're generally wary of bottled coffees, having been burned one too many times by overly sweet concoctions laden with sugar and not enough caffeine to counter it (the subsequent crash is inevitable, guys—we need the caffeine to get through). This latte, though, made with a shot of cold-pressed espresso, is smooth and comes with just the right amount of sweetness. The coffee La Colombe uses is always great, and the espresso in the latte is no exception. It's got a slightly nutty taste, which blends well with the milk.

Right now, you can only order the coffee on La Colombe's website, at $10 for a 4-pack and $40 for a 16-pack. But for those close to a La Colombe, expect to start seeing the cans in shops this summer.
