Earth! Fire! Wind! Water! Heart! Vape cloud!

Leonardo DiCaprio is combining powers with fellow Planeteer and Scream Queens star Glen Powell to bring Captain Planet to the big screen.

DiCaprio's Appian Way Productions is teaming with Paramount to produce a Captain Planet movie, which would be written by Powell—who also featured in Richard Linklater's Everybody Wants Some—and his writing partner Jono Matt.

According to reports, their story will not be the wholesome one you remember from the much-loved '90s cartoon series. Back then, five kids from across the planet could summon the Captain with the magic rings they used to control the elements; once summoned, Captain Planet would fight to bring pollution down to zero.

In the new story, CP will be a washed-up has-been who, according to The Hollywood Reporter, "needs the kids more than they need him."

It's not an entirely surprising move for DiCaprio, who produced and narrated climate-change documentary The 11th Hour in 2007, as well as produced upcoming documentary Before the Flood

It's doubtful DiCaprio will hit the gym, slather himself in blue paint and pull on the red undies to take on the role himself. But we can dream. My god...we can dream.
