“Sexy. Ruthless. Juicy. Fabulous. Thrilling. High-octane. Bustle-breaking,” are some of the words to describe season four of HBO Max’s Gilded Age, according to its cast.
A new teaser trailer dropped last week, giving us a glimpse of the new season, which debuts this fall.

From what the trailer divulges, it looks like we’re getting more awkward situations between Peggy Scott and her future mother-in-law, Elizabeth Kirkland, and marital troubles between Bertha and George Russell. Other than that, we spot a dance between Marian Brook and Larry Russell, who, last we saw, had a falling out.
The cast teases that there will be consequences, that the world is expanding, that marriages are on the rocks and that what Bertha has built is now in a precarious position.
We’ve been lucky enough to catch glimpses of the production filming on the streets of New York City this summer—enough to both satiate our thirst for more Gilded Age but also stoke it.
HBO Max hasn’t announced an official date for its return, but stay tuned. We’ll announce it as soon as they do!
