Remember when cable offered bundles? Now streamers are too.
Prime Video just announced that for $29.99 a month, its subscribers can have access to a new streaming bundle including AMC+, BritBox, MGM+, PBS Masterpiece and STARZ, saving them about 39-percent when compared to subscribing to each service individually.

With the bundle, subscribers get access to:
- AMC+ – award-winning original series, exclusive movies direct from theaters, and the ultimate destination for fan-favorite franchises including The Walking Dead Universe and the immortal world of Anne Rice. Subscribers can catch up on the latest critically acclaimed seasons of The Vampire Lestat and The Walking Dead: Dead City, streaming exclusively on AMC+, and look forward to an exciting line-up of new series this fall including Kill Jackie, starring Catherine Zeta-Jones and YAGA with Carrie-Anne Moss, Noah Reid, Clark Backo and Hudson Williams in his first role since Heated Rivalry.
- BritBox – Thhe best of British television, featuring acclaimed drama and mystery series like The Other Bennet Sister, Ludwig, Blue Lights, and the largest collection of Agatha Christie adaptations streaming in North America—including new BritBox Original Agatha Christie’s Tommy & Tuppence (September 15).
- MGM+ – Exclusive, acclaimed original series and docuseries, current movie releases, and classic film franchises, including the hit sci-fi horror series FROM, crime drama The Westies, A Tale of Two Cities, and the highly anticipated crime thriller American Hostage.
- PBS Masterpiece – Emmy® and Peabody Award winning British and international dramas and gripping mysteries, featuring fan-favorites like, All Creatures Great and Small, Miss Scarlet, and Astrid alongside glamorous new hit, The Forsytes, and the returning mystery series, The Marlow Murder Club Season 3, Marble Hall Murders and Maigret Season 2 (October 18).
- STARZ – The entire Power Universe, all eight seasons of the acclaimed series Outlander and its popular prequel series Outlander: Blood of My Blood (September 18), the crime drama S.W.A.T. Exiles (September 25), available exclusively on STARZ, the season finale of the British boxing series Fightland (September 25), and the highly anticipated upcoming third season of P-Valley; and movies including Michael and The Housemaid.
Prime Video says that the bundle makes it easier for customers to access all their entertainment in one place “at even greater value through one, unified bill” and that it is one of “the largest collection of bundles with exceptional savings in any single app.”
This is just another moment of unification between streaming apps. Prime Video already had add-ons with Peacock, FOX One, HBO max, Paramount+, Apple TV, Hallmark+, Mubi and Acorn TV, as well as with the previously mentioned services, separately.
Already, Disney+, Hulu and ESPN can be bundled and Philo has teamed up with Paramount, MTV, A&E, BBC America, AMC and Hallmark for its bundle, among others.
From the consumer perspective, there’s too much content spread across too many subscription services. And while it’s nice to be able to consolidate them in fewer places, it just begs the question: isn’t this just cable?
