Are you living your best life? You might want to consider US News & World Report's latest ranking of the best places to live in the U.S. before answering that question.

Taking into account data from the United States Census Bureau, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Department of Labor and more, the study identifies five different indexes (job market, value, quality of life, desirability, net migration) to be weighted in the development of the ranking. "The percent weighting for each index follows the answers from a public survey in which people from across the country voted for what they believed was the most important thing to consider when thinking about moving," reads the release detailing the study.
