You’ll want to keep your eyes peeled for this one!

Disney+ will stream the Banana Bowl live this fall, meaning you won’t have to trek to Georgia to see the viral Savannah Bananas (and other “banana-ball” teams) in person. The championship game will bring all six  exhibition barnstorming baseball teams together to put on “one of the biggest performances the league has ever done” on October 1 - 4, according to the streamer.

The teams—the Savannah Bananas, the Party Animals, the Firefighters, the Texas Tailgaters, the Loco Beach Coconuts and the Indianapolis Clowns—will play a series of championship games in which they’ll get points for winning innings (no bunting allowed), while they perform choreographed dances, walk-up routines and interact with fans.

The Savannah Bananas have been the most popular team with more than 11 million subscribers on TikTok, 3 million subscribers on YouTube and 4 million on Instagram. Often compared to the Harlem Globetrotters, the team has gone viral for videos of its high-energy performances from team members, from a reenactment of “The Phantom of the Opera” song in the stands or a Mulan and Frozen song medley on the field, as well as featuring celebrities, athletes and artists who play along, including Ben Platt, Drew Brees, Russell Wilson, 50 Cent, The All-American Rejects and Riley Green.

The Savannah Bananas have been around since 2016, but didn’t really come into their current form until 2018. It wasn’t until 2026 that the Banana Ball Championship League was formed to include other entertaining teams.

Disney+ and ESPN will air 25 games with select matchups airing across ESPN networks and ABC. If you don’t have those channels, TruTV, HBO Max, the CW and the Roku Channel will air a limited number of games.

Disney also announced additional Banana Ball events coming this summer in case you can’t wait for October. On May 29-30, there will be a game between the Party Animals and the Loco Beach Coconuts at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at the Walt Disney World Resort with a broader fan celebration. Then on July 23, Banana Ball will put on an event at ESPN’s headquarters (at Dunkin' Park in Hartford, Connecticut) featuring the Party Animals and Clowns.
