Expedia Group just announced the introduction of One Key, a new loyalty program that spans the company’s three flagship brands—Expedia, Hotels.com, and Vrbo. Not only does this loyalty program encompass multiple travel brands, allowing customers to both earn and use rewards on numerous things, but it’s also the first time a major online vacation rental platform has introduced a loyalty program.

The launch of One Key allows travelers to accumulate savings, rewards, and perks across flights, hotels, vacation homes, cruises, car rentals, and even activities. “We designed One Key to reward every traveler—the road warriors, the frequent flyers, and the 83 percent of travelers who only take a few trips a year and never really benefit from other loyalty programs,” expounded Jon Gieselman, president of Expedia Brands.

The loyalty program has different membership tiers and as travelers progress to higher memberships, they will unlock bigger discounts and perks at VIP Access properties. “No company is doing more to put the traveler experience front and center in everything we do,” stated Vice Chairman and CEO, Expedia Group, Peter Kern.

The One Key loyalty program is already live in the U.S. and is slated to roll out globally in 2024.
