Ensuring you book the lowest airfare can be a struggle—we're talking hours or even days of scrolling and refreshing and calculating and triple checking your calendar for flexibility. We've all been there. Now, it's about to feel a bit easier, thanks to a new feature on Google Flights.

The search feature to find flights is rolling out a price guarantee pilot program, to help prevent buyer's remorse and encourage travelers to just go ahead and book. Already, Google Flights, shows when current prices are low, typical, or high compared to historical averages on the same route at that time.

Now, Google is leveraging that data even further: if you book a flight with a price guarantee badge, Google is confident that the price won’t get any lower before takeoff. And if it does, you'll get a little more cash in your pocket, with Google refunding the difference you overpaid via Google Pay. During the pilot program, price guarantees are only available for ‘Book on Google’ itineraries that depart from the United States.

And in addition to the price guarantee, Google has added two more search features to help travelers make the most of their bookings. A new way to search hotels on mobile allows travelers to search a term such as “Soho London hotels” and explore each property in a swipeable story format, plus see rates and save the hotel for later.

Once you've picked a destination, if you search for main attractions, like The Colosseum or Eiffel Tower, Google will automatically pull up tour options with pricing, so you can book more of your itinerary with a budget in mind.
