It all started with a “Hi,” and now it’s ending on one.
A week after Heartstopper Forever arrives on July 17, Netflix will release Heartstopper: Ending on a Hi, a 35-minute, behind-the-scenes special that’ll show never-before-seen footage, cast and crew interviews, larger cultural commentary and fan input. It’s essentially a “thank you” to fans for supporting the show, Netflix says.

Clearly, Heartstopper hit a nerve with people around the world. It accrued 53 million viewing hours in its first three weeks and its stars, Kit Connor and Joe Locke, went from having 200,000 Instagram followers to more than 2 million in just one week, the streamer adds.
“I’ve had more than one parent tell me that it allowed their child to have the conversation of, ‘I’m like one of the characters in the show,’” says Executive Producer Patrick Walters. “That makes it really real.”
“The thing that keeps us going is knowing that Heartstopper has made a positive impact in the world,” adds Alice Oseman, creator of the film, series and graphic novels on which they’re based. “No matter what hard stuff is happening, there’s always that feeling that you can find with other people.”
The behind-the-scenes special will be released on July 24, a week after Heartstopper Forever premieres on July 17.

Until then, you can watch the cast solve games together on the “daily basement series,” from now through July 15 (bloopers from the series debut on July 16). Not only that, but starting on July 15, you can preorder the vinyl box set of music from the series. The cast and creative team will also be at the Heartstopper Forever world premiere on July 14, which will result in a special look inside the event from Tudum. Of course, you can always tune into “Heartstopper Forever: The Official Podcast,” hosted by Tia Kofi, with Connor, Locke, their fellow castmates, Oseman herself and Walters.
