Euphoria, one of the most-watched series in all of HBO’s history that earned 25 Emmy nominations and nine wins, is back on Sunday, April 12, with more heart-pounding drama.

It's been four years since season 2, so the eight-episode season has a lot in store for Rue, Cassie, Nate, Jules, Maddie and Lexi. Now, no longer in high school, the crew is dealing even bigger stakes.

There will be new faces, of course, including Sharon Stone, Grammy winner Rosalía, football player Marshawn Lynch, Emmy nominee Natasha Lyonne and even Trisha Paytas.

Take a look at the season 3 trailer for Euphoria below.

When does season 3 of Euphoria come out?

Sunday, April 12, from 9 to 10 p.m. (ET/PT)

Where can you watch Euphoria?

New episodes of the HBO Original drama series will debut weekly on HBO Max and HBO Max on Hulu.

What time does Euphoria come on?

Sunday nights at 9 p.m. (ET/PT), between April 12 and May 31, 2026.

What cast members are back for season 3 of Euphoria?

Emmy winner Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Eric Dane, Golden Globe nominee Jacob Elordi, Emmy nominee Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, Emmy nominee Martha Kelly, Chloe Cherry, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, and Toby Wallace are back.

Returning season 3 guest stars include Emmy winner Colman Domingo, Grammy nominee Dominic Fike, Nika King, Alanna Ubach, Sophia Rose Wilson, Melvin Bonez Estes, Daeg Faerch, Paula Marshall, Zak Steiner, and Marsha Gambles.

Newcoming guest stars include Sharon Stone, Rosalía, Danielle Deadwyler, Marshawn Lynch, Anna Van Patten, Emmy nominee Asante Blackk, Bella Podaras, Bill Bodner, Cailyn Rice, Christopher Ammanuel, Christopher Grove, Colleen Camp, Darrell Britt-Gibson, Eli Roth, Gideon Adlon, Hemky Madera, Homer Gere, Jack Topalian, James Landry Hébert, Jeff Wahlberg, Jessica Blair Herman, Justin Sintic, Emmy nominee Kadeem Hardison, Kwame Patterson, Madison Thompson, Matthew Willig, Meredith Mickelson, Emmy nominee Natasha Lyonne, Priscilla Delgado, Rebecca Pidgeon, Sam Trammell, Smilez, Trisha Paytas, Tyler Lawrence Gray, and Vinnie Hacker.

Algee Smith (Chris McKay), Austin Abrams (Ethan Daley), Storm Reid (Rue's younger sister, Gia), Barbie Ferreirra (Kat Hernandez), Javon Walton (Ashtray) and Angus Cloud (Fezco) who died in 2023, are not coming back for season 3, according to Deadline.

What's happening in this season of Euphoria?

After a five-year time jump, the characters are navigating life after graduating college. Rue is south of the border in Mexico and in debt to a drug dealer while Cassie and Nate get married and live in the suburbs. Jules is in art school and Maddie is working for a Hollywood talent agency. Lexi is an assistant to a showrunner played by Sharon Stone.

Showrunner Sam Levinson told the Hollywood Reporter that it's going to be "our best season yet."

"It’s exciting to write this show because there are aspects that I can draw upon in my own life, but at the end of the day, it’s also about telling the story of what it’s like to be out of the safety net of school and trying to figure out who you are in the world and what matters to you," he said. "The stakes are a bit higher than they were in the past because the consequences are real and no one’s gonna swoop in and save you."

Is this the last season of Euphoria?

According to Deadline, HBO Head of Drama Francesca Orsi said it has been discussed.

"We’ve talked about it, I don't think anything is over until it's over, but it's been discussed that this is the end," she told the outlet. "I think you will be very satisfied with this season, and how we bring each of the characters' whole narrative."

While HBO has not confirmed the ending, Zendaya said this week on The Drew Barrymore Show that it is likely. When Barrymore asked if it'd be the last, Zendaya rsponded, "I think so, yeah" and "that closure is coming."

Been there, done that? Think again, my friend.
