The film, which has grossed $71.53 million in North America and about $165 million worldwide since premiering in theaters on October 2, is set to arrive on streaming this week, just in time for Halloween. And while it's no horror film, it's certainly freaky.

Verity is landing on Prime Video this week, which isn't much of a surprise, since the thriller is an Amazon MGM title.
However, it will not yet be free for Prime subscribers. Rather, it's being added to the platform as a PVOD option; you'll be able to buy the Anne Hathaway-led flick for $24.99 or rent it for $19.99. Rentals include 30 days to start watching the film and 48 hours to finish once started.
And check back, we'll keep you updated when Verity becomes available to stream for free with a Prime Video membership.
Verity is arriving on Prime Video for digital purchase and rental on Tuesday, October 27.
The story, which is based on the best-selling novel of the same name by author Colleen Hoover, centers on struggling writer Lowen Ashleigh (Dakota Johnson), who is hired to complete a book series for injured author Verity Crawford (Hathaway). While living at the author's home, she discovers a horrifying manuscript—and must decide whether to expose the truth.
Lowen finds what seems to be Verity's chilling autobiographical notes that contains twisted confessions about Verity’s husband Jeremy (Josh Hartnett), and finds it hard to separate fiction from reality, manipulation from attraction, and opportunity from obsession, the logline says.
The result is a hot yet disturbing watch that'll stick with you for awhile.
Directed by Michael Showalter, the adaptation comes after Hoover’s other best-selling novel, It Ends With Us, was translated for the big screen in 2024.
