Straw Hat fans have a lot more content coming their way starting this fall.

With 1,155 animated episodes and 16 live-action episodes, One Piece fans have a lot of content, but Netflix just announced more is on the way.
Because of Season 2’s massive success—it's still #1 on the Netflix Global Top 10 list and has a 100% critics score on Rotten Tomatoes—Netflix is moving forward with much more. On Tuesday, it released the trailer for Season 3, One Piece: The Battle of Alabasta, which will follow Luffy and the Straw Hat crew as they face a brewing war in Princess Vivi’s homeland, Alabasta.

According to the logline, "a rebellion threatens to tear the nation apart, fueled in secret by one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, the ruthless Sir Crocodile, and his underground syndicate Baroque Works, who seek to conquer Alabasta for themselves. In a season defined by unbreakable bonds and impossible choices, the Straw Hats must face a brewing civil war and a powerful warlord to save Vivi’s kingdom before it crumbles into the sand."
All the regulars are back, including Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Mackenyu as Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero as Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Sanji, but they'll be joined by new cast members like Cobra Kai’s Xolo Maridueña as Portgas D. Ace and Cole Escola (the Tony Award–winning star of the Broadway play Oh, Mary!) as theatrical assassin Bon Clay. Daisy Head (Shadow and Bone, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves) will join the cast as Baroque Works agent Miss Doublefinger, along with Awdo Awdo (Upcoming: Subversion) as Mr. 1.
It'll debut in 2027.
Before then, however, One Piece fans are getting fed—Netflix announced a new Lego animated special that premieres September 29. It'll retell the first two seasons of the live-action in brick form. A trailer dropped for that, too:
And more has been revealed about The One Piece, the upcoming reboot of the anime series from WIT studio that is currently in production with Shueisha, Toei Animation and Fuji Television Network. It's a reimagining of the East Blue saga that uses cutting-edge visual technology to bring the start of Luffy’s quest to a new generation, Netflix says.
Some artwork for that was dropped, too:
There's no end in sight for One Piece fans, which makes sense—it is Japan’s highest-selling manga series of all time with over 100 volumes and 600M copies published worldwide and Netflix's live-action series made history as the first Netflix English-language series to debut at #1 in Japan. It is one of Netflix's most downloaded shows of all time. So get ready to sail the high seas for a good long time.
