Just in time for Independence Day, Project Hail Mary is coming to streaming!

Starting July 3, you can watch the Ryan Gosling-led film on Prime Video.

Based on the novel by Andy Weir and directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, Project Hail Mary follows Science teacher Ryland Grace (Gosling) who wakes up wakes from hypersleep to find that his crew mates are dead and he’s several light years into a one-way mission to save the dying sun.

“He must call on his scientific knowledge and unorthodox ideas to save everything on Earth from extinction… but an unexpected friendship means he may not have to do it alone,” the synopsis reads.

Here’s a new teaser trailer:

Sandra Hüller, James Ortiz, Lionel Boyce, Ken Leung, Milana Vayntrub and Priya Kansara also star in the film.

Debuting in theaters March 20, the movie earned over $683M worldwide, which was the biggest this year so far, according to Deadline. After about 90 days in theaters, MGM+ began streaming it on June 18.

Time Out’s Global Film Editor, Phil de Semlyen, gave it four stars, saying it is “a cosmic adventure with hope in its heart and a twinkle in its eye.”

It's also got a 94% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, which is quite a feat.

Its foray to Amazon Prime means more of us can enjoy the sci-fi hit. Those of us who want to skip ads will have to pay an additional $4.99 a month on top of their $14.99 a month Prime membership, though.

Regardless, Project Hail Mary is the perfect movie to turn on this holiday weekend, especially as the heat wave rolls on through.
