Open up your internet browser stat: Spirit Airlines has a summer sale with one-way flights starting at just $50, but those flights must be booked by 11:59pm ET on July 11th.
The sale, which applies to travel taken between August 9 and October 4, 2023, is available countrywide every day of the week excluding Fridays and Sundays.
While some longer flights might be a tad bit pricier—flights from Boston to Dallas start at $89, while Los Angeles to Atlanta routes begin at $105—these deals are still worth scooping up. Lania Rittenhouse, vice president of guest experience, brand and communications for Spirit told Travel + Leisure, “We want fun travel memories to be easy for everyone to make, and our latest deal allows that by providing affordable fare options across the U.S.”
And while it might not be possible to act fast enough to take advantage of this short-living deal, Spirit’s generally low costs allow for customers to have access to travel they otherwise wouldn’t be able to with other airlines. For example, their Saver$ Club membership program gives travelers discounts to pricy add-ons like checked luggage and seat selection.
Additionally, their Free Spirit loyalty program allows travelers to earn points and status aboard their aircrafts with points that never expire. To sweeten the deal, their partnership with StatusMatch.com will match your status with any loyalty program you’re already a part of, including Delta Airlines, United Airlines, American Airlines, Southwest, and JetBlue.
