If you walked into your local Starbucks this morning, you probably noticed that the menu has changed as the company switches gears towards its spring menu. Some of the old favorites are back, like the lavender drinks: the iced lavender cream oatmilk matcha, iced lavender oatmilk latté and the lavender creme frappuccino. But you're more interested in what's new, you'll want to hear about the new drink with cherry flavoring, the iced cherry chai. It starts as a black tea with warm spices like cinnamon and clove, then milk and ice get added. A cherry cream cold foam is layered on top along with a sprinkle of cherry crunch topping. Almost any drink can be customized by adding cold foam on top, flavored with cherry or lavender cream.

As for food, we’re often peering into cases and opting for those cute triangle shaped vanilla bean scones. But if you’re after a more savory experience, the new jalapeño chicken pocket joins the menu, and not just for spring. For a limited time, you can get a free packet of TRUFF original or jalapeño lime hot sauce any time you order a sandwich, egg bite, bake or pocket.

Finally, ready to take beans home with you to brew in your own kitchen? A new blonde roast called Sunsera Blend is now for sale in the company’s coffeehouses and in grocery stores.

If you are lucky enough to live in Chicago, New York City or Seattle, you will get access to brand new seasonal beverages this spring: a lavender matcha malt, a Ube coconut latte, and a Sakura Float.
