The annual list of best cities in the world has been revealed by Resonance Consultancy, leading advisors in real estate, tourism and economic development. It’s an arduous task to determine the absolute best. Still, they’ve done it, ranking these cities based on extensive research into the “liveability, lovability and prosperity” of cities around the world. Not only are these cities great places to live and visit, but they’ve come roaring back post-pandemic, leading the world in economic recovery, resilience and prosperity.

Not surprisingly, London tops the list of best cities. It’s number one in culture and educational attainment. The city tops all indices despite recent tumult, and continues to shine as a top destination not only in Europe but in the world.

The top ten list includes cities across Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Coming in at number three, after London and Paris, is our very own New York City. Demonstrating strong economic recovery, booming real estate and a slew of new cultural offerings.

While NYC is the only city in the U.S. to make the top 10, 13 other cities made the top 100:

15. Los Angeles
16. Chicago
17. Washington, D.C.
34. Seattle
43. Austin
51. San Diego
65. Atlanta
66. Houston
68. Philadelphia
73. Dallas
75. Minneapolis
79. Portland
92. Charlotte
