Booking a campsite can be so much more than just finding a safe place to pitch your tent. And now, there's a better way to make a unique campsite your prime destination.

Hipcamp, the company that helps travelers book accommodations for tents, RV parks, cabins, treehouses, and glamping accommodations has added a new filter to its already super customizable search. In the terrain section, campers can now indicate if they'd like to stay on a farm property and find farms, vineyards, grazing lands, treehouses and more to stay in overnight. Additional filters allow you to select desired amenities such as showers, hot tubs, Wi-Fi, cooking equipment and more, so your farmside camping site can be as equipped as you desire.

Similar to rental sites like Airbnb and VRBO, Hipcamp allows property owners to list short-term rentals for part or all of their land. Farm listings include a tiny house on a historic farm in upstate New York, a nice place to pitch your tent on a horse farm, a redwood treehouse among the vineyards in coastal California and so much more. Many rentals start at just $30.

Listings also range from basic open spaces without potable water to more hotel-style professional accommodations, such as The Outlier Inn offering a range of yurts, cottages and camping among 12 acres of alpacas, goats and more.

“The first-of-its-kind filter sorts through more than 450,000 available campsites, glamping stays, tree houses, cabins, and more to reveal sites located on working lands,” Hipcamp CEO Alyssa Ravasio told Travel + Leisure about the new farm filter. See what quirky accommodations you can find!
