We all want to find hidden gems to visit that the rest of the world hasn’t discovered yet because they’ll overshare on social and take away all the parking spots and restaurant seats. But in the true nature of wanting to talk about hidden gems that are no longer hidden, we’d like to share this list from luggage storage company Bounce, which lists the top 10 you’ll find here in the U.S.

1. Sedona, Arizona

This gorgeous desert town is known for its red rocks—with a mild climate to enjoy being outside looking at the dramatic buttes and canyons. Sedona received 4.7 million searches on Google from January to December 2023, landing it at #1 on this list. The city’s arts scene also makes it a gem.

2. Mackinac Island, Michigan

Landing at second with 4 million searches, Mackinac Island thrills people with its “no cars on the island” rule. It’s a walkable paradise with a population of around 500 people. Feeling like moving faster? Bikes, rollerblades, and even horse-drawn carriages will get you around.

3. Chattanooga, Tennessee

Set right in the Appalachian Mountains along the Tennessee River, this placid town with incredible views, sandstone formations and gardens garnered 3.892 million Google searches last year. Its foliage makes autumn memorable. It’s also a Civil War history site with many battlefield parks.

The rest of the list includes other nature-based cities, proving that we all just want some space to enjoy natural beauty. Wild beaches, national parks, and hiking provide access to the best hidden gems of all. The list concludes with these destinations:

4. Gatlinburg, TN

5. Anna Maria Island, FL

6. Garden of the Gods, CO

7. Olympic National Park, WA

8. Grand Teton National Park, WY

9. Half Moon Bay, CA

10. San Luis Obispo, CA
