TikTok LIVE and Food Network are launching a cooking series

A cool crossover between network TV and social media is happening this month—and it’ll give you a front-row seat to amazing cooking skills, recipes and live conversations.

Dubbed TikTok LIVE x Food Network Presents: Tomato Season, the series will feature both food creators and iconic Food Network chefs for hour-long livestreams from the Food Network Kitchen.

It begins Wednesday, July 8 at 8pm EST with Chef Antonia Lofaso and Creator @jose.elcook who will walk you through each recipe and spill tips and tricks. You can also engage with them in real time by voting in polls, sending food-themed gifts and asking questions directly in the chat.

Coolest of all, you can tune in on multiple TikTok channels: @foodnetwork, @jose.elcook, @tiktok, and @tiktoklive_us.

Chef Lofaso, owner and executive chef of acclaimed Los Angeles-based restaurants Black Market Liquor Bar, Scopa Italian Roots, DAMA and Antonia Lofaso Catering, has been on numerous Food Network shows including Tournament of Champions, which she won in season six, Beat Bobby Flay, Chopped, Guy’s Grocery Games, Wildcard Kitchen, and many more. She will next be seen on the all-new series Kitchen Undercover, premiering Tuesday, July 28 at 9pm EST/PT on Food Network.

Jose El Cook (@jose.elcook) is a culinary creator known for his high-energy cooking videos, practical kitchen tips and approachable recipes and his mantra: “I make sure you can cook now.”
