New flight routes between Florida and London make it easier than ever to hop across the pond.

Nore Atlantic Airways just announced they'll soon be selling tickets for flights between London Gatwick and Orlando, as well as Fort Lauderdale. The flights to Orlando will begin on May 25, 2023, and to Fort Lauderdale on May 26, 2023, with roundtrip fares starting at $490. Because where better to escape Florida's summer humidity than temperate London?

“We are very pleased to announce two new routes from London Gatwick to the popular holiday destination of Florida. In addition to our current daily New York flights, we will also be releasing for sale further destinations between London and the US by the end of February. As a result, our UK-based airline, Norse Atlantic UK, will serve more destinations to the US from London Gatwick than any other carrier this summer," said Bjorn Tore Larsen, CEO and founder of Norse Atlantic Airways, in a news release. "We look forward to a busy summer ahead as we bring value fares and a fantastic service to passengers looking to travel across the Atlantic.”

Norse Atlantic aims to offer affordable and comfortable Europe-bound flights, exclusively operating on a fleet of Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, with both premium and economy seats offered.

These two new routes expand the England-based airline's transatlantic routes, with its first being a daily London to New York service that launched in August 2022, shortly after the company's first-ever flight took off from Oslo to New York on June 14, 2022. The airline offers service between New York, Los Angeles, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Oslo, London, Berlin, Rome and Paris.
