It’s no longer a mystery—a teaser trailer for Enola Holmes 3 is finally out and it gives us so many hints for what to expect when it drops on July 1.
Netflix’s romantic mystery film, features Enola, the young sister of Sherlock Holmes, as she is caught up in another thrilling conspiracy, this time with a shotgun wedding (well, sort of). The teaser shows sweet moments with her fiancé, Tewkesbury, but it appears she may miss her own wedding when another intrigue calls her to the island nation of Malta.
“You’ll have to wait and see what brings her there—but once she’s arrived, Enola is flung into a nest of vipers,” Netflix describes. “As the private detective juggles a new case and the next stages of her relationship with Tewkesbury, the game is truly afoot.”

Of course, Millie Bobby Brown is back as the title character while Louis Partridge returns as her fiancé, Tewkesbury, Henry Cavill is back as her brother, Sherlock Holmes, and Helena Bonham Carter returns as her mother, Eudoria Holmes.

The film is truly a family affair. Millie Bobby Brown and Bobby Brown are producers while Jake Bongiovi and Isobel Richards are executive producers for PCMA Productions. Mary Parent, Ali Mendes, and Alex Garcia are producers and Joshua Grode is executive producer for Legendary Entertainment. Michael Dreyer also executive produces the film.
It was directed by Philip Barantini (Adolescence. Enola Holmes and Enola Holmes 2) and written by Jack Thorne with inspiration from The Enola Holmes Mysteries by Nancy Springer.
Netflix also released posters for the film, which give us an idea of what both Enola and Tewksbury will be facing this time around.
