Buckle up Avatar fans, the gAang’s back in June with season 2 of Avatar: The Last Airbender and Netflix just dropped a trailer!

Premiering June 25 on Netflix, season two drops us in the Earth Kingdom’s capital, Ba Sing Se, where Avatar Aang (Gordon Cormier), Katara (Kiawentiio) and Sokka (Ian Ousley) are trying to convince the elusive Earth King to help them defeat Fire Lord Ozai (Daniel Dae Kim). Finally, we’re introduced to the irreplaceable Toph (Miyako Cech), who will teach Aang how to earth bend. Prince Zuko (Dallas Liu), meanwhile, is still on their trail even as a fugitive from the Fire Nation, with mounting pressure from his sister, Azula (Elizabeth Yu).

Here’s the trailer:

Compared to the first season, this one will be action-packed. The trailer features favorite moments like the Blue Spirit’s side quest, sick lighting bending from Azula and lots of earth bending between Toph and Aang. Much of the beloved series' best moments come from this time frame.

Cormier (Aang) notes the difference between the bending we saw in season 1 versus the bending we’ll see this season.

“Airbending comes from bagua and wushu, [which are] really flowy, smooth, and very similar to tai chi, actually. But earthbending comes from Hung Ga kung fu, which is really aggressive,” he told Tudum. “Low stances, powerful moves, and stuff like that. It’s quite a nice change, actually. It’s really stompy and kicky and punchy rather than flowy and airbendy.”

Bonus sightings in the trailer: Zuko’s new (better) haircut, famous quotes like “There is no war in Bag Sing Se,” and Cormier’s notably deeper voice. But as we’d hope with any live-action remake, there are some expected changes and additions.

“We are going to show the real-world versions of iconic scenes from the original, and explore some of the stories that the animation didn’t,” say executive producers Christine Boylan and Jabbar Raisani. “Mainly, we’re looking forward to seeing our gang all together again.”

On that note, there are new characters coming into the fray this season:

  • Chin Han (Mortal Kombat, Skyscraper) as Long Feng
  • Hoa Xuande (The Sympathizer, Top of the Lake: China Girl) as Professor Zei
  • Justin Chien (The Brothers Sun, The Great Leap) as King Kuei
  • Amanda Zhou (Spinning Out, The Handmaid’s Tale) as Joo Dee
  • Crystal Yu (Doctor Who, Good Omens) as Lady Beifong
  • Kelemete Misipeka (Sons of Thunder) as The Boulder
  • Lourdes Faberes (The Sandman, Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre) as General Sung
  • Rekha Sharma (Yellowjackets, Battlestar Galactica) as Amita
  • Terry Chen (Lucky Star, Jessica Jones, House of Cards) as Jeong Jeong
  • Dolly de Leon (Triangle of Sadness, Between the Temples, Ghostlight) as Lo and Li
  • Lily Gao (Blue Sun Palace, Twisted Metal, Slip) as Ursa
