Adam Sandler conquered golf as Happy Gilmore; now it’s Will Ferrell’s turn at the sport as Lonnie “The Hawk” Hawkins in Netflix’s The Hawk.

The 10-episode series, which is Ferrell’s first TV comedy, follows Hawkins in his quest to make a comeback as the golf icon he used to be in the early aughts, but now he faces big challenges, including fierce competition from his son Lance (Jimmy Tatro), who threatens to take “The Hawk” title. Not only that, but he must face Golden Fisk (Luke Wilson), the pro golfer who’s beaten Lonnie twice, and PGA TOUR board member Anton (Chris Parnell). At his side are his estranged wife, Stacy (Molly Shannon), and his new caddie, Sam (Fortune Feimster), as he goes on his journey of redemption.

You can watch the trailer below.

Set to his own theme song by Hot Goat Music, the new trailer unveils Hawkins’ passions, from yes, golf to bedazzled visors, his issues (a past failure in the final stretch of a grand slam) and his competitive spirit. We also get a peek at his panther-emblazoned tour bus.

Ferrell is poised to charm audiences as Sandler did in the 90s with The Hawk, which premieres on Netflix on July 16. Maybe there’s potential for a crossover?

Until then, you have a chance to catch Hawkins (Ferrell) on his tour bus, which has been making stops on the East Coast leading up to the premiere. At each stop, there have been games, prizes, photo opportunities, and even appearances by Ferrell himself. You can follow Lonnie’s journey on the official @LonnieTheHawk Instagram account.

The next stops on the tour are:

  • Netflix House in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania — July 12–13
  • International Sand Sculpting Festival in Revere Beach, Massachusetts — July 18-19
