One of the things we miss most about our pre-coronavirus lives is the ability to just hop into a movie theater and catch a flick at any time of the day. Although a return to that sort of freedom is still far away, the next best thing might actually be upon us: we can now rent out an entire Alamo Drafthouse movie theater for up to 30 people.

The theater's "Your Own Private Alamo" program allows those interested to secure a reservation for $150 plus a $150 minimum food purchase. On the menu: delicious cocktails, popcorn, sweets, shakes, pizza, sandwiches, salads and more. After all, in regular times, the destination is known as much for its pretty awesome fare as it is for its film offerings.

Speaking of films: guests can choose from over 40 options that include classics like The Goonies, Casablanca and The Lost World: Jurassic Park; family-friendly options like Trolls, Despicable Me and Kung Fu Panda; and other favorites the likes of A Nightmare on Elm Street, The Lost Boys and Wonder Woman.

Upon securing the reservation, the host will be sent a secret link that can be shared with up to 30 people who will then be able to pick one of the seats available and join in on the fun.

Needless to say, safety remains a priority: the theater will be cleaned and sanitized before each showing and guests will be seated at least six feet away from each other.

If you're looking for a splashier outing, you even have the option of coordinating with the staff to bring your own food, decorate the space and host a larger event (for an extra fee, of course).

As of now, only two locations are rentable, one in Denver, Colorado and the other in Austin, Texas. You can snag a reservation for either one right here
