Rockstar is preparing to release GTA 6 in November, so now's the time to get in your free play.

With the impending release of Grand Theft Auto VI on November 19, the hype is real, but so is the time limit on playing its predecessor, GTA V, for free!
GTA V, set in the fictional city of Los Santos, has been available to play for free on Xbox Game Pass on the Xbox PC app, but it'll be removed from both on April 15. This means you've got to finish your game before then or buy it before it disappears from your library.
It has come and gone before, but this time it's in preparation for Rockstar's GTA VI marketing this summer. GTABoom.com said the move creates purchase pressure for the new game and eliminates value comparison—removing the free-play option means more people will have to purchase the new game if they want to get up to no good in GTA.
Other games leaving Xbox on April 15 include Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, Terra Invicta, My Little Pony: A Zephyr Heights Mystery and Ashen.
GTA V, which was released all the way back in 2013, actually has critical acclaim, including winning Game of the Year at the 2013 Golden Joystick Awards and nominations at the 14th Annual Game Developers Choice Awards and 10th British Academy Games Awards. That's why players are pumped for the new game—GTA V was incredible.
GTA VI is set in Vice City in the fictional sunny state of Leonida (read: Florida) and follows Jason and Lucia. "When an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves...in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida — forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive."
If you're looking for other free games to play with your Xbox Game Pass, Assassins Creed Valhalla, Assassins Creed Unity, Assassins Creed Odyssey, Assassins Creed Origins and Assassins Creed Syndicate are available this weekend, from Thursday April 2 until Monday, April 6.
