Cooking directly over fire is undoubtedly one of the most powerful ways we can connect with the thousands of generations that came before us; it’s one of the few things we continue to do today that replicates a function that people were doing long before we came along. The power and celebration at the heart of “live-fire” cooking inspired Heritage Fire to once again traverse the nation to share the practice, along with the storied legacies of , heirloom produce growing (similar to heritage livestock, this is produce grown from single lineage that’s maintained over generations) and communal eating and drinking.

The 2024 Heritage Fire Tour kicks off in Tampa on April 21, followed by stops in 12 additional cities across the U.S., including Atlanta (April 28), Austin (May 5), the Twin Cities (May 19), Savannah (June 2), Nashville (June 23), Asheville (July 14), Snowmass (July 27), Napa (August 18), Willamette Valley (September 8), Los Angeles (October 6) and Miami (November 10), before wrapping up in Charleston on December 3. Each of the all-inclusive outdoor destinations features tastes from 18+ top local chefs who will compete for the title of their city’s Heritage Hero.

The chefs will offer guests dishes that highlight both live-fire cooking and their city’s culinary culture during each walk-around event, which will feature free-flowing drinks and interactive entertainment. After indulging in tastes from each chef, guests are invited to vote for the “best bite of the day,” at which point the evening’s Heritage Hero will be crowned.

What makes each farm-to-fork event unique is its emphasis on hyper-local products and flavors and their histories. In addition to an exquisite locavore line-up, expect to enjoy unlimited access to an array of expertly-crafted beverages.
