Tiny, well-hidden house-turned-museum Galleria Cini glows with calm Madonnas on gilded backgrounds, and unsettles you as the eyes of its beautiful portraits (a stunning private collection of Ferrarese and Tuscan art) follow you around the room. It’s low-key by Venetian standards, but showcases a stunning private collection of Ferrarese and Tuscan art, assembled by industrialist Vittorio Cini and is well worth a visit.
