Time Out says

Book online for a table at this tiny enoteca, for thoughtfully prepared, 3-course slow-food lunches or dinners far off the tourist trail.

It’s a simple enough formula—order and appetizer or pasta course, plus an entrée and dessert for a fixed price, all from a menu that changes daily according to market whims. Then wait as your fresh, unfussy plates are prepared in an open kitchen. CoVino’s fairly priced set menus—the only option at dinnertime—are one of the best deals in Venice. The cluttered, ho-hum interior might not speak to you, but the food will sing. Reservations are a must here.

Time Out tip: With only 7 or 8 tables, space is at a premium here. Credit cards are required to reserve online and if you blow off your dinner date, your card will be charged just the same.
