A Capitol Fourth 2026 is the nation's premier Independence Day concert held on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol. Maestro Jack Everly leads the National Symphony Orchestra and other performers in a celebration culminating with fireworks over the Washington, D.C. skyline. The event is free, open to the public, and broadcast live on PBS nationwide.
