There’s always something going on at Little Miss Whiskey’s, whether it’s a Game of Thrones screening, a pig roast on the patio, stand-up comedy or karaoke. The New Orleans Saints bar is the sister establishment to Jimmy Valentines, the hidden bar off of H Street where anything goes. The same attitude applies at Little Miss Whiskey’s, where the Awesomeness (a dangerously strong alcoholic slushie) has fueled many late-night dance parties.

Over 115 amazing beers on the menu- from rarities like Wicked Weed to Bell's, Stone, Founders... -makes this a haven for beer lovers. The two-level back patio is the coolest in DC, w/ bamboo and trees growing up amongst the fountains, and the weekend DJ's are the bomb and they never charge a cover. The bartenders are knowledgeable and very friendly, overall I'm really glad I moved to this neighborhood so I can hang here regularly
I went here for my birthday one year, and it wasn't exactly my cup of tea. I generally stay away from bars that have neon lights illuminating their predictable liquor, which is a prominent feature at Little Miss Whiskey's. But, if you're looking for a dive bar with a twist, you'll find that here. The music is loud and rocking, there's a special house slushie that's the equivalent of jungle juice, and no bartender really cares that much. Luckily, Little Miss Whiskey's is on H Street, so there are plenty of awesome bars around if this one fails you miserably.
