Just down the road from the Helix, this is another distinctive Kimpton hotel. A studded oriental-look doorway leads into a stylish retro lobby. The adjoining Rouge Bar is a dark, red-accented and stylish space that looks built for intrigue. Spacious rooms are a decadent combo of padded red leather ceiling-height headboards, huge lamps and armchairs, some in white leather. They’re equipped with HD TVs, PlayStations, Wii and CD players. There’s a complimentary wine hour in the evening.
