Time Out says

A postage stamp becomes the starting point for an evening where bluegrass, design, and museum collections meet under one roof. Bluegrass Forever celebrates the release of the USPS Bluegrass Forever stamp at the Smithsonian's National Postal Museum, pairing live music from King Street Bluegrass with hands-on printmaking and activities inspired by the art of stamp design. Rather than treating the music as background entertainment, the event connects the traditions of bluegrass with the visual culture and history preserved in the museum's galleries. Visitors can move between performances, creative workshops, and exhibitions, creating their own route through the space as the museum stays open after hours. A bar adds to the relaxed atmosphere, while the mix of music making, printmaking, and postal history gives the evening a character that feels distinctly tied to its setting instead of borrowing the format of a standard concert.
