A DC institution: having served DC’s gay community for more than 50 years, it’s worth grabbing a burger at Annie’s just to say "I was there". There’s nothing remarkable about the decor or the service—or the food, for that matter. Many of the patrons seem to come to reminisce about the glory of their youth, giving the restaurant even more of a neighborhood feel. Midnight brunch is served at weekends and holidays, and the kitchen remains open round the clock from Friday night until Sunday night.
