On weekends, the crab-cake sandwiches at this counter-service-only restaurant vie with outdoor craft vendors as Eastern Market’s main draw. But Market Lunch is perhaps best visited on weekdays: the line is shorter then and you’re more likely to get a seat at the communal table in the center aisle of the historic food hall. It’s also a popular spot for breakfast, with locals waiting in line for the famous "blue bucks" (blueberry buckwheat pancakes).
