Depending on your mood, you’ve got a choice of dining experiences at Tonic: upstairs is for a quieter, sit-down, tablecloth vibe; downstairs is a cavernous bar, with dark wood, television and plenty of beer on tap. No matter where you choose, the menu is the same, a shout-out to comfort food with regional American touches. Think macaroni and cheese, meatloaf sandwiches, pulled pork, a lox plate for brunch or roasted tomato salad with goat’s cheese.
